    My brother purchased a water heater for my parents home.My brother showed the associate the one he wanted and showed the associate on his phone ,we were also buying a refrigerator that day. The associate goes to the back to get both appliances which took over an hour, we still did not complain about that understanding sometimes that's just the way it is. The associate finally gets it loaded into my nephews truck they bring it home and install it,the water heater runs for an entire week no problems and no issues. One day I went by and the pilot light was out and so I attempted to light It but it would not light. I then call the service center and he asked me for the serial number and I give it to him and then he asked me what type of gas I have and I told him and he said well the problem is that's a natural gas water heater not a propane and once you hook it up and run the wrong gas through it it voids the warranty. So I was like OK just glancing over the back of the receipt you see 90 days and you think I'm OK so we go unhook it, bring it to the location in Rosenberg.all we wanted to do was switch it out. There were 2 managers working that evening which was Tammy and Felix .Tammy was already at the customer service desk talking down about some customer. So she told my brother she could not do anything for him that he needed to call the manufacturer to get an RA #. So my brother calls me and tells me what happened, at this point I call the store to speak to the manager on duty ..set on the phone for about 15 min waiting and then they hung up. So I understand sometimes that happens..I then called back and asked to speak to the manager on duty I waited another 10 minutes and Felix answers the phone I tell him the whole story about how the associate loaded up the wrong water heater all I'm trying to do is get the right type of gas water heater I don't want a discount I don't want no money back I just want the right water heater that was picked out from the beginning.He then tells me hold on and that is when he puts Tammy on the phone and once again I explain the entire story again.She then starts to tell me that there is nothing she can do for me says the word unfortunately over 20 times in our conversation and then tells me I need to call the manufacturer to trouble shoot the problem now at this point I'm losing brain cells listening to her and I say troubleshoot what exactly? The problem is we were given the wrong gas type water heater and the wrong gas was run through it which not only broke the water heater but also voided the warranty so I'm not sure what exactly we were supposed to be troubleshooting. She says well unfortunately I can't do anything about it, you need to call the manufacturer to get an RA # and I have already told her 4 times they are not going to give me an RA# because the warranty is now voided.And I told her I thought your return policy is 90 days and she says not on water heaters and I told her I didn't know that and she says well it's posted where the water heaters are and it's posted at the service desk and it's posted over here and at this point I knew I wasn't gonna get anywhere with her.. her main focus wasn't customer service and it wasn't trying to problem solve but it was trying to win in a situation. I hung up the phone and then call the corporate office where a young man helped me and he was wonderful he got everything entered into his system told me it would be escalated to upper management and I should hear from someone in 24 hours.After 24 hours I didn't hear from anyone so I called the corporate office again.At this point the 2nd young man that helped me on this call was also wonderful he put in his notes and let me speak to his supervisor in the corporate office to see what they could do for me right. She was AMAZING. Tammy,Felix,Sarah &Jackie worst managing and customer service skills ever.
